“I’am not disappointed in you,
that’s out of the question.
It’s just what you represent
makes me scream out
my deepest frustration.”

fugaz

Fugaz su camino

Inentendible su distancia

Sin aviso,  en su ausencia desaparece.

Mi derrumbe. Mi esperanza. Mi castigo a ultranza.

Aún no seduce

Oh, infantil y arrogante aventura

Mi razón no me deja avanzar, insistir y renegar

De lo que estoicamente espero sin esperar:

Que algún día yo mismo no sea tan fugaz.

“They miss the whisper that runs
any day in your mind,
‘Who are you really, wanderer?’
and the answer you have to give
no matter how dark and cold
the world around you is:
‘Maybe I’m a king.’”
—William Stafford, from “A Story That Could Be True”

“I’ve heard that almost all the people crowding around the big art openings barely look at the work on display and are just there to hobnob. Nothing wrong with that, except that none of them ever come back to look at the art – but they will tell everyone, and actually believe, that they have seen the exhibition.” —Charles Saatchi, from Charles Saatchi: the hideousness of the art world The Guardian, Dec. 2, 2011 (via banquethall)
